Welcome to Nano10 ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a secure experience when preparing for competitive exams using our services.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data and usage information we collect, how it is processed and shared, and the controls you have over your data when you access or use the Nano10 mobile application (available on Google Play Store) and any associated web services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, registering, or using Nano10, you agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in this policy. If you do not agree with any terms herein, please do not access or use the Service.

To provide our specialized topic-wise daily tests, synchronous live contest leaderboards, and All India Rankings (AIR), we collect several types of information from you.

Your data is processed based on legitimate interests to provide, sustain, and elevate the educational features of the Service. Specifically, we utilize the data to:

• ✓ Authenticate User Access: Secure login verification using Firebase Identity tokens and user state storage.
• ✓ Conduct Live Sync Contests: Synchronize countdown timers and answer tracking for simultaneously active participants.
• ✓ Formulate Rankings: Calculate test scores, compute performance speed, and publish All India Rank (AIR) leaderboards.
• ✓ Push Notifications: Send timed push reminders via Firebase Cloud Messaging right before scheduled live test rooms open.
• ✓ Prevent Abuse & Cheating: Prevent duplicate profiles and identify fraudulent attempts or unauthorized API calls during live rank runs.

We integrate secure third-party developer services provided by Google to handle infrastructure needs. They access data solely to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose:

Data Retention Limits

We retain your account data and historical exam attempts for as long as you maintain an active profile on Nano10. Device FCM tokens are updated dynamically and stale tokens are discarded after 60 days of inactivity.

Nano10 targets high school students and young adults preparing for competitive engineering entrance examinations (such as JEE).

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, distribute, or retain personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you discover that your child under 13 has signed up or provided information, please contact us immediately. We will take rapid actions to remove such user records from our production servers.

We prioritize protecting your data and employ administrative, software, and hardware defenses:

• All application communication to our backend APIs occurs exclusively over encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols.
• Authentication tokens (Firebase ID tokens) are verified on the backend on every API call.
• Internal database systems are hosted behind virtual private clouds and network isolation walls.

Please remember that no transmission channel over the internet or storage database system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect shifts in our features, changes in the law, or updates to third-party SDKs.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the policy page. If the revisions are substantial, we will provide additional notifications in the app prior to the changes taking effect.
